Common Reasons KrisFlyer Miles May Be Delayed
If your KrisFlyer miles have not yet been credited, the reason is often easy to identify. Below are the most common causes of delays.
Your Cruise Has Not Been Fully Completed
- KrisFlyer miles are only credited after the cruise has been successfully completed.
If your cruise ended recently, your miles may still be going through verification. - Miles are typically credited within approximately 4 weeks after cruise completion, allowing time for travel validation and processing.
You Were Not the Lead Guest on the Booking
To be eligible to earn KrisFlyer miles:
- The KrisFlyer member must be listed as the lead guest, and
- Only one KrisFlyer member per cabin can earn miles
If the KrisFlyer member was not the lead guest, miles cannot be credited.
The Name on the Booking Does Not Match the KrisFlyer Account
- The name on your cruise booking must match your KrisFlyer account exactly, including first and last name.
- Even minor differences, such as spelling errors or missing names, can prevent miles from being credited.
The KrisFlyer Membership Number Was Missing or Incorrect
Your KrisFlyer membership number must be:
- Provided at the time of booking, and
- Entered correctly
If the membership number was missing or entered incorrectly, your miles may be delayed or not credited.
The Booking Was Not Made Through KrisFlyer Cruise
- KrisFlyer miles can only be earned on cruises booked through official KrisFlyer Cruise booking channels.
- Cruises booked directly with a cruise line are not eligible for earning KrisFlyer miles.
