KrisFlyer miles are awarded to the lead passenger at the time of sailing, not the original lead passenger. The lead passenger’s name must match the KrisFlyer membership used for the booking.
How Lead Passenger Changes Affect KrisFlyer Miles
If the lead passenger on a booking is changed before the cruise sails, the KrisFlyer miles will be awarded based on the updated lead passenger.
This means:
- KrisFlyer miles are credited to the lead passenger listed at the time of sailing
- The lead passenger’s full name must match the KrisFlyer membership details exactly
- The original lead passenger will not receive the miles if they are no longer listed as lead passenger
Important Things to Know
- Only one KrisFlyer member per cabin can earn miles
- KrisFlyer miles cannot be transferred between members
- If the KrisFlyer membership does not match the lead passenger at sailing, miles may not be credited
