Earning KrisFlyer Miles on Redemption Bookings
When you use KrisFlyer miles to pay for a cruise booking, those miles are treated as a redemption, not a cash payment. As a result:
- KrisFlyer miles cannot be earned on any portion of a booking paid with KrisFlyer miles
- This applies whether you use miles for partial payment or full payment of the cruise fare
- Only bookings paid in eligible cash amounts qualify for earning KrisFlyer miles
What This Means for You
- You can either earn or redeem KrisFlyer miles on a cruise booking — not both at the same time
- If you redeem KrisFlyer miles, no additional miles will be awarded for that booking
- If you want to earn KrisFlyer miles, the booking must be paid in cash (excluding ineligible charges such as taxes and fees)
